Summary

Law Firm Overview

Robinson Law Office is a trial law firm, engaged in handling serious, significant cases for individuals and smaller businesses seriously injured or wronged. The firm was founded in 1999 with a simple philosophy: to bring years of big-firm know-how and expertise to bear to obtain outstanding results for individuals and companies who simply cannot afford the enormous costs involved in hiring a big law firm.

The firm's founder, J. Neil Robinson, spent sixteen years practicing law in one of largest law firms in the southeastern United States , nine of those years as a partner. During his time with that firm Neil established a reputation for achieving maximum results in complex cases, representing some of the largest corporations and insurance companies in the country. Now, as the principal of Robinson Law Office, he devotes his practice to representing individuals and smaller businesses severely injured or wronged in various ways, many times by the same type of large corporations and insurance companies he formerly represented.

First and foremost, Robinson Law Office is a trial lawyers law firm. This means that from the very beginning of a case we investigate, research and prepare the case with a view towards trying the case to a jury. We believe this approach is of critical importance for several reasons. First, over the last 22-plus years of practicing law, we have earned the reputation of being eager to try cases out in front juries. This well-earned reputation in turn feeds the second reason of importance: more often than not, the large corporation or insurance company does not want the case tried in a courtroom to a jury. Thus, the relative bargaining power between our side and the other side is substantially evened out by our eagerness to go to the mat and the other side's reluctance to do so. The fact that we love to go to court and the other side does not levels the playing field. Moreover, we believe that a case that is not prepared to be tried is a case that will yield only mediocre results at best. Third, and perhaps most importantly, we enjoy trying cases to a jury--it is what we do.

We also believe this approach sets us apart from most other firms that purport to specialize in civil litigation, particularly in the areas of personal injury or wrongful death: at Robinson Law Office our clients will always have fighting for them a seasoned, skilled trial lawyer, rather than a so-called litigator who rarely darkens the door of the courtroom and much rarer still ever actually tries a case out. Similarly, another aspect that differentiates us from many others is that we are not a claims processing factory. We do not take every case we are called about or even a majority of them. At Robinson Law Office our clients are not merely a case number and are not shunted off to a first-year attorney or administrative personnel. We endeavor to accept only a handful of serious cases, and each and every client has the undivided attention and dedicated hard work of the experienced, skilled trial lawyer handling your case each step of the way, who is ready and available 24/7.

Not every case of course ends up being tried. If the other side makes us an offer we cannot refuse, so be it. If they do not, we'll try the case to the jury. It's that simple. We believe strongly in our clients and cases, we work extraordinarily hard to get our cases ready for trial, and we delight in the opportunity to present our cause to twelve members of the community. Our track record of success is second to none. If you have a serious matter, or are an attorney looking to associate counsel or refer a serious matter, we would be delighted to speak with you.
