Steven J. Gilpatrick has been a lawyer for 18 years, and in private practice for ten years. His expertise in the child custody field includes over six years experience as an attorney in Florida 's Department of Children and Families, where he concentrated on child abuse cases. He has the unique knowledge of how domestic violence, alcohol, and drug abuse can affect divorce and child custody cases. He is currently the attorney for a group called the Child Protection Team, that handles cases involving physically and sexually abused children in the four county area.
