Lawyer Overview

Tony De Marco is a partner in our Irvine and Cerritos offices, and represents California public school districts and public agencies in all aspects of labor and employment law. His areas of practice include certificated and classified employee discipline, contract enforcement and arbitration, representation of employers before the Public Employment Relations Board, Department of Fair Employment and Housing, and the Office of Administrative Hearings, as well as general education law.  He is experienced in collective bargaining, and is the chief negotiator for numerous school districts throughout the State.  He has presented before local and statewide organizations on the interest-based bargaining process, state-mandated sexual harassment training, and other issues of importance to his public sector clients.  Tony is a part of the firm’s FRISK® presentation team.

In 2008, Mr. De Marco was appointed to the oversight committee for the Association of California School Administrators’ (ACSA) Education Legal Support Fund (ELSF).  In conjunction with the California School Board Association’s Education Legal Alliance, the ELSF engages in advocacy and legal action in furtherance of the mission and objectives of ACSA and its membership.

Mr. De Marco was admitted to practice law in California in 2001.
