Since December, 1983, owned and operated Law Office of George de la Flor, APC, a legal practice focused primarily on employment, business and tort litigation.

Labor and Employment Law
Experience includes significant trial and appellate practice. Cases handled run the gamut of employment law, including wrongful termination, whistleblower cases, qui tam actions, union contract and union rights, sexual harassment, discrimination (age, sex, race, disability, medical condition, sexual preference), wage and hour cases, class actions, public sector, ERISA pension and disability benefit claims, unemployment claims and civil rights.

Administrative Law
Extensive experience, including litigation and appellate work within, or related to the Public Employment Relations Board, U.S. Secretary of Labor, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, National Labor Relations Board, State of California Labor Commission, Merit Systems Protection Board, San Diego City Employees Retirement System and Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board.

Business Law
Contract and lease negotiation and litigation; business counseling; real estate law; representation of contractors and architects; collections; unlawful detainer; partnership and corporate litigation; predatory lending; government contracts and intellectual property; Alcoholic Beverage Control Board licensure; unlawful business practices and unfair competition; intellectual property; and anti-trust litigation. Presently defending a business client in a coordinated anti-trust class action.
