EMPLOYMENT LAW:

Robert David Goodstein is a former Assistant Counsel to the New York State Division of Human Rights. He has served as Chair of its Regional Advisory Council, Chair of the New Rochelle Human Rights Commission and as a commentator for Court TV in employment discrimination matters. He also served as legal director for the Westchester Civil Liberties Union, and was a member of the Executive Board of the National Employment Lawyers Association of New York Throughout his career he has represented clients almost exclusively in employment discrimination matters and employment related litigation. He has written articles on employment discrimination law, and has lectured in those fields as well.

Before joining the firm in 1999, Paula Johnson Kelly was a sole practitioner and of counsel to small firms and other sole practitioners, assisting them in employment and discrimination matters. Since she joined Goodstein & West the vast majority of her caseload has consisted of representing clients in employment discrimination actions and claims of sexual harassment. Ms. Johnson Kelly is a member of the National Employment Lawyers Association of New York and has lectured at its seminars. She is also a member of the Westchester County Women's Bar Association and is currently co-chair of its Employment Committee.
