Jean Bond Brown joined Timoney Knox as an Associate in 2004. Before joining the Firm, she served as a law clerk for The Honorable Thomas N. O'Neill, Jr., of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. She focuses her practice on business law and trusts and estates. Ms. Brown has a particular interest in advising families whose members include those with special needs.
Ms. Brown graduated cum laude from the University of Notre Dame, Notre Dame, Indiana, with a degree in government, and magna cum laude from the Villanova University School of Law, Villanova, Pennsylvania. While serving on the Villanova Law Review, her article, Making up for Lost Time: The Third Circuit's Use of Remedies for Violations of the IDEA was published. Ms. Brown held the position of Managing Editor of Outside Articles on the Law Review. She is a member of the Order of the Coif, a national legal honor society.
A life-long resident of the Philadelphia area, Ms. Brown is a graduate of Mount Saint Joseph Academy in Flourtown and a member of St. Alphonsus Parish in Maple Glen. Ms. Brown is a member of the Montgomery Bar Association and the Women's Business Forum.
