My name is William Herlong, and I founded The Herlong Law Firm in 2004 after more than 16 years of legal experience including litigation with some of the most prestigious law firms in the country and the role of general counsel and CEO of a startup company. As a Greenville, South Carolina, attorney, I believe in providing passionate, personal and sophisticated representation for business litigation clients, personal injury victims and class action suits. I do not take a great many cases, but when The Herlong Law Firm takes a case, I give it my all.

I have achieved an AV-rating* under Martindale-Hubbell's peer review rating system and membership in the Million Dollar Advocates Forum which is limited to attorneys who have won million dollar verdicts and settlements. I studied biochemistry in college and believe that background, coupled with my big firm experience with taking exceedingly complex cases to trial, has made me a uniquely qualified trial lawyer capable of handling a range of personal injury cases, complex business litigation and class action lawsuits.

The focus of The Herlong Law Firm is to help small businesses and individuals find justice. Since 1989, I have practiced law in Greenville and during that time have tried approximately 100 cases, mostly to juries. I have a proven record of accomplishment and success for my clients in everything from personal injuries including death and dismemberment to business disputes, patent challenges, employment disputes and claims of professional malpractice. My trials and arbitrations have lasted up to 30 days with hundreds of millions of dollars in dispute.
