Lawyer Overview

Ted Kroke focuses on advising corporations on all technology-related projects such as outsourcing agreements, contractual telecommunications projects, software projects, e-commerce, and other IT project agreements. He drafted and negotiated the outsourcing agreements for one of the largest IT outsourcing transactions in Germany to date and has advised Nokia Siemens Networks, Diebold, Deutsche Post, DHL, ADP, HSBC, Citigroup, Monster, and Telefonica.

Prior to joining Jones Day in 2007, Ted worked for more than six years with Linklaters in Cologne and before that with Oppenhoff & Rädler, where he also worked extensively on M&A transactions and the setting up of joint ventures. In addition, Ted acquired experience relating to the practical side of handling IT projects during a six-month secondment as the head of the legal department to a German software company.

Ted is author of the annotation to the frequency chapter of the German Telecommunications Act published in the Telekommunikationsgesetz, Kommentar und Vorschriftensammlung, Kohlhammer 2005.
