Justin Blackhall practices in the areas of structured finance, bankruptcy, real estate, corporate governance and related litigation. He is admitted to practice in the states of New York and Connecticut. 

Justin represents lenders on finance transactions in the U.S. Virgin Islands.  In addition, Justin has experience representing both creditors and debtors in large bankruptcy cases, including Enron and Adelphia Communications.  Justin has also participated in corporate monitorships of companies facing regulatory and corporate governance problems, most recently in the Worldcom bankruptcy and the KPMG tax shelter cases.

Justin was born and raised on St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands and is a graduate of the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law (J.D., 2001) and Syracuse University (B.A. 1998). Following his graduation from law school, Justin clerked for the Honorable Thomas B. Bennett in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Alabama at Birmingham. In addition, Justin served as student law clerk to the Honorable Thomas K. Moore in the District Court of the Virgin Islands and the Honorable Shira A. Scheindlin in the District Court for the Southern District of New York.
