Erika A. Alley is an associate with Foley & Lardner and is a member of the Tax & Individual Planning and Estates & Trusts Practices.

Previously, Ms. Alley was an associate with Sugar, Friedberg & Felsenthal LLP in Chicago and prior to that she worked as an associate with Foley. She gained experience drafting estate planning documents, administering estates and trusts, and researching and analyzing estate and trust law issues. Ms. Alley has also authored an article in the Chicago-Kent Law Review and co-authored an article in The Banking Law Journal.

Ms. Alley received her Juris Doctorate degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law, Illinois Institute of Technology (with high honors, 2002), where she was elected to the Order of the Coif and was a member of the Chicago-Kent Law Review. During law school, she was a judicial extern to the Honorable Blanche M. Manning of the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Illinois. Ms. Alley received her undergraduate degree in English from Wittenberg University (summa cum laude, 1999), where she was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society.

Ms. Alley is admitted to practice in Illinois and before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and is a member of the Illinois State and Chicago Bar Associations.
