Daniel B. Kim is a partner in Glaser Weil's transactional department. He has a general corporate practice that includes public securities offerings, 144A debt offerings, private equity and mezzanine financing, venture capital, corporate governance, '34 Act compliance, and joint ventures. In addition, his practice includes general commercial transactions, including intellectual property licensing, co-development transactions, and employment and severance agreements. Mr. Kim has represented various investment banks, including Goldman, Sachs & Co., Banc of America Securities, Morgan Stanley & Co., and J.P. Morgan Securities, and various technology, telecommunication, and biotechnology companies in public equity and 144A debt offerings, private equity and venture capital funds and emerging and middle market companies in private equity and mezzanine financing, and Fortune 500 companies, including Adecco International, MGM MIRAGE, Macromedia, and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, in mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, '34 Act, Nasdaq, NYSE, and Sarbanes-Oxley Act compliance, and commercial transactions.

Mr. Kim received his law degree in 1997 from Columbia University Law School , graduating as a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. While at Columbia Law School , Mr. Kim served as an executive editor of Columbia Journal of Environmental Law. Mr. Kim received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy in 1993 from University of California at Berkeley where he was a Chancellor's Scholar.

Mr. Kim has been admitted to practice law in the State of California and the State of New York .
