David Lesser is a partner in the firm's Litigation/Controversy Department, and a member of the Business Trial Group and the Appellate and Supreme Court Litigation Practice Group. David is also a member of the Financial Institutions Practice Group of the Regulatory and Government Affairs Department. His litigation practice has an emphasis on financial institutions and their business. He joined the firm in 2003.

Practice

Mr. Lesser is a skilled litigator who has experience handling a wide variety of civil litigation matters in federal and state court. His practice has focused on commercial disputes and defense of complex class actions. He has represented a diverse group of clients, including various financial institutions and insurance and technology companies, in cases involving securities, antitrust, RICO, FCRA, contract, and tort, among others. He also has extensive experience with appellate litigation.

Mr. Lesser received his JD from Yale Law School in 2001. Upon graduating from law school, he clerked for the Honorable Rosemary Barkett of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
