Lawyer Overview

Matt Ballenger practices civil litigation in matters before federal and state courts at the trial and appellate levels, as well as arbitration panels. His experience includes representing corporate and individual clients on a wide range of issues, such as commercial contracts and agreements, insurance coverage, health care fraud and abuse, antitrust, and environmental torts. Matt also has experience assisting clients in civil and criminal investigations initiated by the government, and has conducted internal investigations for companies arising out of qui tam lawsuits and other allegations of misconduct.

While in law school, Matt was a member of the Virginia Law Review.
