David Cutitta was born in Batavia, New York.  He graduated with distinction from Clarkson University in Potsdam, New York with a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering. He also earned a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Rochester and a Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law in San Diego, California.

Mr. Cutitta previously worked as an associate in the technology and intellectual property group of a national general practice law firm.  He also acted as in-house counsel for a professional services firm providing commercialization assistance to advanced technology companies.  Prior to practicing law he gained extensive experience in the telecommunications industry while working as an engineer and consultant for various companies including Datron World Communications Inc. of Vista, California, Harris Corp. of Melbourne, Florida and Westinghouse Electric Inc. located in Baltimore, Maryland.

Mr. Cutitta is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia, New York, California and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.  He focuses his practice on all areas of intellectual property including trademark, copyright and patent law.  His patent experience includes the procurement of patents related to electrical devices, software and business methods.
