Stephanie primarily represents a publicly traded real estate investment trust (REIT - shopping center sector) in connection with various matters, including single and multi-property acquisitions and sales, joint venture agreements, loan transactions (including construction loans, commercial mortgage-backed securities (or CMBS) loans, loan assumptions and defeasance transactions), commercial leases, entity formations and structuring, tax compliance issues and like-kind exchanges. She also serves as local counsel for borrowers in connection with the issuance of opinion letters to lenders.
