Michael L. Fox is an associate with the firm's litigation team, concentrating in federal and state general and commercial civil litigation.

Michael received his Bachelor of Arts degree, Phi Beta Kappa and summa cum laude, in 2000 from Bucknell University, in Lewisburg, PA, with a major in Economics and a minor in Biology. He received the award for the highest standing in Economics, and was active throughout his college career, among other things serving as a member of the Middle States Period Review Report Committee for Bucknell, and as a member of the University Judicial Boards.

Michael received his Juris Doctor degree in 2003 from Columbia University School of Law, in New York City, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and an Articles Editor on the Columbia Business Law Review.

Michael is admitted to practice in New York State, as well as in the Southern, Eastern and Northern Districts of New York, the Second Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. He previously worked as an associate in the litigation department of Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP, in Manhattan. Michael also clerked for the Honorable Lawrence E. Kahn, United States District Judge, Northern District of New York, in Albany.

Michael, a native of Orange County, is very active with the American Bar Association and New York State Bar Association. He is currently the New York Young Lawyer Delegate to the ABA House of Delegates, and a Delegate to the NYSBA House of Delegates. He is also the Secretary of the Young Lawyers Section of NYSBA. Michael served as Program Co-Chair for the 2009 Young Lawyers Section two-day Bridge-the-Gap CLE during the NYSBA Annual Meeting. In addition, he is a Past Chair of the Committee on Community Service & Pro Bono of the Young Lawyers Section.

Michael has authored or co-authored several articles and CLEs concerning Federal civil procedure, attorney-client privilege & work product, electronic discovery, evidence and professional responsibility.
