Lawyer Overview

Olivier Rousselle's practice focuses on the corporate and tax aspects of private equity transactions, asset sales and purchases, corporate restructurings, and financing arrangements, both in Belgium and in a transnational context.

Olivier is part of the team advising Platinum Equity in its pan-European acquisition of the Geesink Norba Group (a leading manufacturer of garbage trucks in Europe) from Oshkosh Corporation as well as in the purchase of the 3B-Fibreglass manufacturing business from Owens Corning. He also has been representing a French retail group in the sale of a part of its activities in Belgium and has handled pan-European corporate restructurings for several multinational groups. He regularly drafts cross-border and domestic agreements, while concurrently advising on tax matters, including most recently those relating to debt restructuring issues.

In 2009, Olivier was invited as a guest lecturer at two conferences hosted by the Academy of European Law, where he discussed tax-related subjects from a European law point of view.
