Lawyer Overview

Carol has a broad range of experience in complex civil litigation. She has litigated cases in state and federal courts around the country involving class actions, fraud, False Claims Act, RICO, actions arising under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and nationwide cases consolidated by the Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation. She has represented pharmaceutical manufacturers in lawsuits brought across the country by government and private plaintiffs relating to Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance reimbursement. Carol has significant experience in all phases of discovery including electronic discovery and preparing and defending witnesses for deposition. Carol also has spent a significant amount of time working with experts to prepare complicated data analyses and expert reports. In addition, she has assisted clients with complex class action and individual settlements.

Carol is a member of the American Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, and The Chicago Bar Association.
