Sean Armstrong's practice is focused on complex civil litigation in state and federal courts. Sean's major cases have included a shareholder derivative suit concerning a multibillion dollar U.S. government contract, a natural gas transportation contract dispute between two major oil and gas companies in the Alaska Cook Inlet, a Securities and Exchange and Commodities Futures Trading Commission investigation into the energy trading practices of a major oil and gas company, a dispute over a propylene oxide supply agreement and joint venture involving one of the world's largest polymer companies, and the successful defense of multiple consumer actions against a major international computer manufacturer and a national construction equipment leasing company.

Prior to earning his law degree, Sean was a credit analyst for Credit Suisse First Boston where he managed credit exposure over a wide range of financial products for the U.S., Offshore, and Canadian Bank portfolio in the fixed income, derivatives, and equities division of credit risk management. Also, while interning at the U.S. Court of International Trade in New York, he helped write opinions for antidumping and countervailing duty cases.

Sean is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the American and Houston Bar Associations.
