The Law Firm FRANCA RIBEIRO ADVOCACIA began its activities in 1951 through its founder Luiz de Franca Ribeiro. The Firm's expansion and growth are the result of its commitment to the providing of comprehensive, permanent and personalized services to its clients.

From the beginning, the Firm was predominantly directed to the corporate practice, providing broad assistance in several areas of law to a diversified client base of Brazilian and foreign companies, these companies originating from Europe, North America, South America and Asia.

As of November 2000, after many years of mutual cooperation, Franca Ribeiro Advocacia affiliated with the northamerican law firm Baker and Hostetler, LLP, which has offices in several cities in the United States of America, including Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Costa Mesa, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, Orlando and Washington, D.C. and its affiliate office Enriquez, Gonzalez, Aguirre y Ochoa, from Ciudad Juarez, Mexico.
