Chris Bauer's practice embraces a broad range of general and complex business disputes. He has worked on issues related to unfair business competition, business frauds, contract disputes, fraudulent conveyances, large-scale construction defects, civil contempt, punitive damages, enforcement of judgments, and land valuation in condemnation proceedings. In addition, Chris has successfully litigated intellectual property matters involving trademark and patent infringement. Chris has experience handling disputes both in federal and state courts and in arbitration proceedings and mediation.

Chris has authored or coauthored articles on various legal issues, including: "Comment, Government Takings and Constitutional Guarantees: When Date of Valuation Statutes Deny Just Compensation," 2003 BYU L. Rev. 265; "Abstract: Internet Racketeering and American Criminal Law," Scuola Superiore G. Reiss Romoli (SSGRR) International Conference on Advances in Infrastructures on the Internet (L'Aquila, Italy), January 21–27, 2002; and "School Prayer and the Establishment of Religion: A Look at Engel v. Vitale," BYU Prelaw Rev. 35 (1998–1999).

Chris is a member of the State Bar of California and the Orange County Bar Association, and he serves on the board of the Orange County Chapter for the J. Reuben Clark Law Society.
