Law Firm Overview

Tod S. Mercer is a native Oklahoman, born in Oklahoma City on December 22, 1958. Shortly thereafter his mother and father moved the family back to their hometown of Lawton, Oklahoma. Mr. Mercer graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1984 with a Bachelors Degree in Political Science. Mr. Mercer graduated from Oklahoma City University School of Law with a Juris Doctor degree in December 1990.

The Oklahoma Bar Association admitted Mr. Mercer to the practice of law in January 1991. He is licensed to practice law in all state and federal courts in Oklahoma as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the 10 th Circuit. Mr. Mercer is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, the Oklahoma Trial Lawyers Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the A.T.L.A. Bad Faith Litigation Group, and the Pittsburg County Bar Association. He is also member of the Phi Delta Phi legal fraternity.

Mr. Mercer is married to Christy Mercer and they have one ten-year old son, Dakota, and two black Labrador Retrievers, Tex and Nina. Mr. Mercer is an avid outdoorsman and conservationist. He is a long-time member of the Bass Anglers Sportsmans Society, Ducks Unlimited, and the Billfishing Foundation. In his free time he enjoys family, good friends, fishing, hunting, golfing and the outdoors.
