Law Firm Overview

Skare Law Office, Inc. was founded March, 2004, by Thomas M. "Tom" Skare.  Tom received his Juris Doctorate degree from Hamline University School of Law in 1987.  After clerking for one year for the Judges in the District Courthouse in Duluth, he joined the Newby Law Firm in Cloquet in 1988, which eventually became known as Newby, Lingren, Skare & Westermann, Ltd.  After 16 years of successfuly representing people, he left that firm to start Skare Law Office, Inc. to continue to provide help and representation to people.  Tom helps injured people with claims arising out of collisions or other incidents.  He was named a Super Lawyer in 2002 and 2003 by Minnesota Law & Politics magazine - an honor conferred on only 5% to 6% of practicing attorneys in Minnesota.  He has been nominated to receive that honor again for 2004.  Tom is also a nationally certified civil trial specialist - certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy after gaining the necessary experience, meeting their qualification requirements, and passing an examination designed to ascertain a lawyer's expertise in the area of civil trial litigation.  Tom Skare is a professional, experienced and qualified trial attorney.  He is available to help you with your legal matter whether it be representation for a personal injury, disability, DWI, or any other legal concern.

Skare Law Office is located in Downtown Cloquet, on the northwest corner of Cloquet Avenue and 15th Street - one block east of City Hall.
