Law Firm Overview

Seth P. Chazin - has represented clients in more than 1,000 felony cases. In addition to his trial work on behalf of individuals charges with drug crimes, assault, and sex crimes, Mr. Chazin has litigated numerous state and federal appeals. He successfully investigated and prepared the "actual innocence" claim in a death penalty Habeas Corpus case pending before the California Supreme Court. Mr. Chazin received his B.S. in Broadcasting from the University of Florida in Gainesville and his J.D. from Golden Gate University in San Francisco. In 1993, Mr. Chazin was nominated to receive the State Bar of California's Public Lawyer of the Year Award. He is a member of the Los Angeles County, Alameda County, Solano County and Contra Costa County Bar Associations. Mr. Chazin in the author of several articles including "Castle Under Siege." He is admitted to practice law in California and Massachusetts, and was the recipient of the Distinguished Service Award for the Arab-American Anti-Discrimination Committee for 2002.
