Lawyer Overview

Virginie Julien practices corporate law, focusing primarily on mergers and acquisitions.

She has worked on several cross-border transactions for U.S. and European companies, including the sale by Rhodia of its 50 percent interest in the Latexia joint venture and additional paper latex production assets to venture partner Raisio Chemicals, the acquisition by The Timken Company of the engineering solutions business of Ingersoll-Rand, and the sale by Rhodia of its food ingredients business to Danisco A/S. She has also assisted Diebold and its French subsidiaries in a variety of French corporate, litigation, and data protection matters.

Virginie has also worked on the financing of the acquisition and construction of several residential buildings for Bouwfonds Property Finance. In addition, she has assisted clients such as Rhodia, IBM, and Goodrich on environmental matters.

Virginie is fluent in English and French and can converse in German.
