Stephen (Steve) Palmer was born in Albany, Georgia and raised in Orlando, Florida. He attended Clemson University where he graduated in 1992 with a degree in Financial Management. Following undergraduate school Steve worked for two years with Duke Power Company in Charlotte, North Carolina. He then attended Campbell University School of Law, graduating magna cum laude in 1997. While in law school Steve focused his studies on the areas of Estate Planning and Business Planning, winning achievement awards in each area. After graduating from law school Steve moved to Hickory, North Carolina in 1997 and joined Sigmon Clark. Since joining the firm Steve has developed a practice primarily concentrated in the areas of Business and Corporate Law, Estate Planning and Administration, and Real Estate Transactions. Steve also handles civil litigation and appeals involving each of these areas. Steve's educational background combined with his professional experience provide him the ability to understand both the practical and legal needs of each of his clients. This permits the development of a comprehensive plan of representation which places each client in the best position to achieve their respective goals. Steve is a member of the Catawba County Bar Association, the 25th Judicial Bar Association, and the North Carolina Bar Association. He has appeared in all levels of the North Carolina courts.
