Lawyer Overview

Silvia Obagi is an associate in the Firm's real estate department.  Ms. Obagi concentrates her real estate practice on the acquisition, sale, development, finance, and leasing of commercial, industrial, and residential properties.  Her clients include property owners, developers, banks and other lending institutions, and office, commercial and retail landlords and tenants.  Ms. Obagi represents her clients in various matters ranging from drafting and negotiating contracts to the resolution of disputes and claims.

Recently, Ms. Obagi has been involved in representing MGM MIRAGE in the construction and development of Project CityCenter in Las Vegas, Nevada , one of the largest mixed use developments in the United States .  In particular, Ms. Obagi has drafted and negotiated several architect and design agreements and various agreements for consulting services ranging from  fine art procurement to nondestructive testing and quality control/quality assurance services.     

Ms. Obagi graduated cum laude from the University of California , Los Angeles in 2000 and received her J.D. from the University of California , Los Angeles , School of Law in 2003, where she was awarded the Moot Court Outstanding Brief Writer Award and served on the Moot Court Board.  Ms. Obagi also served as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Dickran Tevrizian, United States District Court, Central District of California.
