Three years after joining the Glaser Weil's litigation group, Kerry Garvis Wright became a partner. Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Ms. Wright moved to Los Angeles in 1999 and began her career with Glaser Weil. Prior to her move to the West Coast, Ms. Wright was an associate in a boutique litigation firm in Chicago, where she first-chaired several trials. Ms. Wright continues to be a member of the Illinois Bar.

While Ms. Wright's litigation practice with Glaser Weil is varied, her primary focus is in commercial litigation with an emphasis on entertainment and employment related litigation. She has represented companies and individuals, ranging from global, publicly-traded real estate companies and major motion picture studios to a world renowned and celebrated architect and an NBA basketball star, in defending a multitude of claims, such as fraud, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, and various discrimination/harassment claims.  Her practice, however, is not limited to representing defendants; she has represented individuals and companies, large and small, as plaintiffs in business disputes, including actions for trade secret misappropriation and other business related torts. Her experience includes trials, appeals, mediations, arbitrations and administrative actions. Through her practice, Ms. Wright has gained experience in a broad range of areas, including probate, real estate, defamation, intellectual property, class actions and Federal Trade Commission actions.

Ms. Wright's most recent victories include a unanimous jury verdict in favor of her client on a $15 million claim brought by a real estate developer arising out of a failed real estate transaction and an award in her client's favor in a multimillion dollar arbitration involving an agreement which Ms. Wright convinced the arbitrator was unconscionable and unenforceable.

Ms. Wright lives in Beverly Hills with her husband, who is also a lawyer, and their son Cooper.
