Howard, Meier & Fine LLC (the "Firm") was established in 2003 bringing together the 40 plus years of experience in the practice of law of its founding members:  Preston B. Howard, Esq., Glenn F. Meier, Esq. and Marilyn Fine, Esq.  The Firm provides a full range of services to its small and mid-sized business clientele.  The Firm prides itself on its hands on approach to client needs exemplified by accessibility and responsiveness to client objectives.

Services range from entity choice and formation, the drafting of agreements and contracts, purchases and sales of businesses, all types of commercial litigation in both state and federal courts, collections, and creditor bankruptcy representation.  The firm also has significant experience in all aspects of real estate transactions, land use planning, and gaming law.

The Firm counts among its clients a wide range of privately held businesses, real estate investors and developers, numerous small business owners, a number of major financial institutions and several publicly traded companies.

The founding members of the Firm have a broad range of both legal and practical experience which results in a genuine depth and diversity of knowledge which benefits our clients.  The Firm's business orientation is highlighted by the fact that, in addition to their respective law degrees, two of the Firm's founding members also hold masters degrees in business.

Out firm's members aim to work collaboratively with clients to identify the clients' objectives and develop strategies at the outset of a representation that are not only legally sound, but also make good business sense.  We tailor our work in a particular matter for each client recognizing that there is no one solution for any given type of business problem.  Our aim is to provide each client with legal services individually designed to meet the client's needs in as practical and efficient a manner as possible.
