Leveraging more than 25 years of experience in handling U.S. legal matters for major Japanese corporations, Foley established its Tokyo office to further expand the firm's ability to represent clients in complex intellectual property and corporate legal matters.
Strategically located in the Toranomon area near the Japanese Patent Office and U.S. Embassy, our Tokyo office serves a dual purpose. It is a liaison for the firm's growing list of Japanese clients and also allows the firm's U.S. clients to more closely monitor legal developments in Japan.
Our Tokyo office capitalizes on the firm's recognized areas of strength, increasing our ability to support Asian companies as they continue to expand their business internationally, particularly in the United States. Foley attorneys assist our global clients conducting complex business transactions involving intellectual property and technology issues, as well as handle cross-border insolvency work for both U.S. and Japanese clients.
