David A. Loglisci, Esq., is a partner at the firm and has close to 20 years of litigation experience, including trials in both the state and federal courts, as well as arbitrations. He also has successfully argued numerous appeals. Mr. Loglisci specializes in commercial, construction and general civil litigation. In addition to his representation of owners, general contractors and subcontractors, Mr. Loglisci has counseled and represented clients in a broad range of legal matters, including cases involving the Uniform Commercial Code (Sale of Goods and Leases), business litigation, non-compete litigation, breach of confidentiality, breach of fiduciary duty, property damage, trespass, nuisance and aviation law, among others. Mr. Loglisci has successfully represented numerous equipment lessors in obtaining possession of leased equipment and recovering money owed by lessees. In one notable case, Mr. Loglisci was successful in recovering in excess of $1 million on behalf of a construction equipment lessor, whose customer claimed that he had become the owner of the equipment after paying rent for a certain period. After obtaining a temporary restraining order and preliminary injunction, possession of the equipment, an order of contempt and summary judgment, Mr. Loglisci recovered the full amount of rent, interest and attorneys' fees from the lessee.
Mr. Loglisci also has successfully prosecuted several cases on behalf of clients whose buildings were severely damaged by construction work performed at adjacent premises. Mr. Loglisci has obtained injunctions stopping any further construction work and has recovered substantial sums for his clients.
Mr. Loglisci is a member of the New York State Bar and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York
