Lawyer Overview

John Papadakis has a broad-based employee benefits practice covering all forms of share incentive and pension arrangements. He has extensive experience setting up and advising on approved and unapproved share incentive arrangements for public and private companies in the U.K. and advising on global stock plan issues. He advises on corporate and securities law requirements governing such arrangements and also on U.K. corporate governance and institutional investor requirements. John's recent pensions work has included advice to employers on ongoing funding issues, the closure of plans to future accrual, the wind up of plans, and insolvency issues.

John has recently advised a diverse range of companies on their share incentive arrangements. These include Cardinal Health, The Evolution Group, Manpower Inc., NTL Globalgroup, Primetel, The Riverside Company, Scotts Miracle-Gro Company, Stepan Company, and Ted Baker. He also has given advice on many U.K. defined benefit plans, including recently to Bonhams, Dole Food Company, the Trustees of Energizer Holdings, Ennstone, and The Timken Company.

John is a member of the Share Plan Lawyers Organisation, the Association of Pension Lawyers, and the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals.
