Karen C. Daly has a general litigation practice, with experience in commercial disputes, class action defense and constitutional litigation.

Practice

Ms. Daly has participated in a variety of trial-level and appellate litigation in both state and federal courts, taking part in discovery, motions practice and trial preparation. She has defended clients in class action lawsuits brought under the Truth in Lending Act, Title VII, and the Equal Credit Opportunity Act. Ms. Daly also has experience in mediation and complex settlement negotiations.

Recent Highlights

Ms. Daly recently took part in an appeal defending the constitutionality of a District of Columbia gun control statute.  She is currently assisting in the representation of a manufacturer in a products liability matter and is also helping to represent a financial services company in a putative class action lawsuit.

Professional Activities

Ms. Daly has published on the scope of First Amendment protection in public education.
