Angela Olivarez focuses her practice primarily in the areas of general corporate and securities law and has represented issuers, underwriters, and investors in public and private offerings of both equity and debt securities. Her capital markets experience has included several cross-border transactions, including representation of clients in Europe and South America, and has encompassed transactions in diverse industries, including shipping, airlines, railroads, entertainment, and finance.

Angela also has experience in mergers and acquisitions, representing acquirors and targets in mergers, asset acquisitions, and stock purchase transactions.

Prior to joining Jones Day, Angela practiced for seven years in the New York and London offices of a Wall Street firm.
