Representative transactions include SAP AG's acquisitions of Khimetrics, Virsa Systems, Outlooksoft, Yasu Technologies Private Limited, Clear Standards, and HighDeal S.A.; Neoware's sale to Hewlett Packard; SunPower's acquisition of PowerLight, SanDisk's joint venture with Qimonda AG; and PC Tools Holding Pty Ltd.'s sale to Symantec.

Prior to joining Jones Day, Daniel was vice president of business affairs on Sun Microsystems' business development team in charge of structuring, negotiating, and executing Sun's acquisitions and equity investments. During his tenure at Sun, the company completed over $2.5 billion in acquisitions. Prior to joining Sun, Daniel was a partner at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati.
