Lawyer Overview

Since joining the Firm, Randy has been involved in a variety of litigation matters, including product liability, antitrust, civil rights, construction, and commercial litigation proceedings. He has handled many aspects of litigation, including factual investigation, depositions, and motions practice. He has represented clients in state and federal courts and has argued before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.

In addition to his work for some of Jones Day's larger clients, Randy has been active in the Firm's pro bono practice. Recently he represented two inmates in an action challenging the constitutionality of a Georgia statute requiring the extraction of DNA samples from all incarcerated felons — a matter of first impression in the Eleventh Circuit.
