Dan has represented clients in the health care industry on a wide range of matters, including Medicare and Medicaid investigations, antitrust investigations, and advice concerning the impact of federal and California laws on joint ventures, acquisitions, management services agreements, and purchasing arrangements. Dan also has participated in nonprofit hospital and for-profit medical clinic mergers and acquisitions and has led the development of hospital-physician joint ventures including ambulatory surgery centers and free standing diagnostic imaging centers. He is engaged in Jones Day's health care finance practice where the Firm has served as bond counsel, bank counsel, underwriter's counsel, and corporate counsel in hospital and long-term care facility financings.
