Lawyer Overview

Laurie practices in the area of energy and environmental litigation and utilities regulation, representing clients in regulatory proceedings and litigation in state and federal court. Her practice includes a wide range of corporate defense work, including CERCLA, environmental/toxic tort, and insurance litigation for energy producing and product manufacturing clients. She also counsels water, gas, and electricity companies on compliance with state laws, regulations, and regulatory requirements.

Laurie has co-authored articles on CERCLA and the Clean Air Act and serves on the editorial board of the Environmental Liability, Enforcement & Penalties Reporter.

Laurie is a member of The Chicago Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
