Lawyer Overview

Jane Froyd's practice focuses on intellectual property litigation. Her experience includes litigating trademark, copyright, patent, trade dress, unfair competition, false advertising, and domain name matters. Jane has also represented clients in inter partes proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. In addition, she has experience counseling clients with trademark and copyright clearance, filing and prosecuting trademark applications, and enforcing intellectual property rights.

Prior to joining Jones Day, Jane was an associate at Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal. While attending law school, Jane worked as a judicial extern for the Honorable Ann Claire Williams, then U.S. District Court judge for the Northern District of Illinois, as well as a public interest law initiative graduate fellow at the Roger Baldwin Foundation of the American Civil Liberties Union.
