Lawyer Overview

Devin McRae is a trial and appellate lawyer whose practice focuses on business litigation involving entertainment law, copyrights and trademarks, partnership and joint venture disputes, creditor and debtor disputes, commercial fraud and negligent misrepresentation, government liability, employment, insurance coverage and bad faith, and corporate fiduciary duties.  Mr. McRae has directed litigation in numerous multi-million dollar cases, has obtained a $6.6 million verdict while serving as a lead trial counsel and has successfully argued before the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.  Mr. McRae was selected in 2009 Southern California Rising Stars by Law & Politics.

Mr. McRae is a 2002 graduate of the UCLA School of Law and a 1998 summa cum laude graduate of the University of New Mexico with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics (Phi Beta Kappa).  Prior to law school, Mr. McRae competed as an amateur boxer, including in the 1999 Golden Gloves competition in Los Angeles.  He resides in South Pasadena with his wife, Mary, and their three children, Amelia, Alastar and Teagan.
