Lawyer Overview

Kate Pitzer primarily focuses her practice on health care law, including physician contracts and practice issues, provider liability, health care contracting, and compliance and governance matters, as well as commercial litigation, construction and real estate contracting and litigation, and general commercial law. 

Before joining this firm, Kate practiced in Washington, D.C., as part of Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi, LLPs health care group, concentrating on PBM contracting, compliance issues, pharmaceutical benefit disputes and contracting, and health care fraud qui tam cases.  Prior to that, she practiced with Spencer, Fane, Britt & Browne, LLPs St. Louis office, doing general commercial litigation and contracting work.

Kate is a member of the Missouri bar, Illinois bar, and District of Columbia bar, and is also a member of the American Bar Association and Boone County Bar Association.
