- Successfully defended Japan's largest auto manufacturer in the antidumping petition against minivans from Japan
- Successfully negotiated major international joint venture in carbon steel industry
- Prepared the first lawsuit to challenge Presidential authority under Section 301
- Defended major Japanese electric/electronics affiliates against allegations of COCOM violations
- Representative of Korean Automobile Manufacturer's Association in Section 301 investigation of restrictive acts and practices in the Korean auto market
- Represented the Japanese steel industry in the Section 201 investigation of certain carbon steel products
- Represented an Italian-owned cruise line in the raising of a $330 million enhanced credit loan to construct and deliver two ultra-luxury cruise vessels
- Successfully represented several Japanese companies in an ICC arbitration against a large Brazilian natural resources company
- Successfully completed, with no discrepancies noted, the U.S. Custom audit and compliance assessment of America's largest importer
Mr. Huey earned his LL.B. from the University of Virginia School of Law (1967). He earned his B.A. from Hobart & William Smith College (cum laude, 1964), where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
Mr. Huey is admitted to practice in New York, the District of Columbia, and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the U.S. Court of International Trade.
