Lawyer Overview

Kamran Khurshid’s practice is focused on transactions involving public and private corporations, limited liability companies and partnerships.

He has experience with mergers, asset and stock acquisition and disposition transactions, corporate finance (asset securitizations and asset-based loan transactions), state and federal securities law, employment contracts, equipment leasing agreements, corporate recapitalization and reorganizations, closely-held corporations and franchising.

Mr. Khurshid’s real estate experience includes acquisitions and sales of real property, residential and commercial leasing, development and redevelopment projects, finance and condominium conversions.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Khurshid was an associate in the corporate department of Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith & Davis in Woodbridge, New Jersey. He has also served as a legal intern at the Embassy of Pakistan’s Information Division and as an intern at the World Bank Group, both in Washington, D.C.

Mr. Khurshid is a member of the Middlesex County Bar Association, where he served as the Vice Chair of its Minority Concerns Committee. He is also a member of the University of Central Florida and George Washington University Alumni Associations. Mr. Khurshid's article, “Non-Compete Pacts: Life After Maw?” was recently published in the New Jersey Law Journal.

Mr. Khurshid is a member of the Board of Directors of the Boys and Girls Club of Central Florida, where he also serves as a member of the Club’s Golf Tournament Committee. He is a volunteer Guardian Ad Litem for the Orange County Court System, and recently received a commendation from the Legal Aid Society of the Orange County Bar Association for his service to the citizens of, and the administration of justice in, Orange County, Florida.
