REPRESENTATIVE MATTERS

Mr. Duffin represents individuals and businesses in residential and commercial real estate transactions throughout the Chicagoland area. Mr. Duffin also represents individuals and businesses in real estate litigation, contract litigation and business litigation in state and federal court.

Mr. Duffin previously worked at two of chicago's largest law firms, Mr. Duffin worked at the law firm Sachnoff & Weaver, where his practice focused on the representation of policyholders in insurance coverage disputes.  Prior to Sachnoff & Weaver, Mr. Duffin worked at the law firm Jenner & Block.  At Jenner & Block, Mr. Duffin's practice focused on the areas of commercial litigation, Banking Litigation, insurance coverage litigation and business litigation.

Before Jenner & Block, Mr. Duffin was a law clerk for the Honorable Tom M. Lytton, Illinois Appellate Court, where he drafted opinions and orders in civil and criminal appeals.

Mr. Duffin graduated with Highest Honors from the Chicago-Kent College of Law in 1998, where he was elected a member of the Order of the Coif.  During law school, Mr. Duffin was a member of the National Trial Team.  As a member of the National Trial Team, Mr. Duffin won the Midwest Regional Competition (judged by the Honorable John W. Darrah, U.S. District Court, N.D. of Illinois).

Mr. Duffin received his B.S. degree from Loyola University Chicago in 1994.
