Lawyer Overview

Nick How has more than 10 years experience advising investment banks, other financial institutions, corporate borrowers, and sponsors on a broad range of financing matters, including cross-border acquisition and property finance, financings for leveraged and secondary buyouts, recapitalizations, and IPOs. He also advises on general bank lending and syndications, trade and export credit finance, project finance, OTC derivatives, restructurings, and debt workouts.

Nick's recent transactional experience in Russia includes acting for financial sponsors and borrowers in the financings for the acquisitions of the Pokrovsky Hills in 2006 and the Pushkino Logistics Park in 2007.

Prior to joining Jones Day, Nick was with the European Finance Group at Shearman & Sterling (London). He also previously practiced in the banking departments at Linklaters (London) and Baker & McKenzie (Singapore).

Nick is a member of the Singapore Academy of Law (1997), the Law Society of Singapore (1997), and the Law Society of England & Wales (1999). He is also admitted as a Barrister-at-Law with the Inns of Court, Middle Temple (1996).
