Steve Corr focuses his practice on intellectual property law and technology. His experience includes litigating patent, trademark, trade secret, and other technology-related matters. Steve's experience also includes representing patent and trademark clients in the procurement of intellectual property rights before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Steve negotiates and drafts agreements that involve the transfer or sharing of intellectual property (including agreements related to research, licensing, clinical trials, confidentiality, consulting, joint development, and information technology). His practice also includes performing technology and intellectual property acquisition due diligence, as well as focusing on the evaluation of intellectual property in support of M&A transactions and intellectual capital management.

Steve represents clients in a number of technological areas, and his experience includes the procurement and defense of clients' intellectual property rights in the fields of biotechnology, medical devices, and pharmaceuticals. He has successfully represented biotech/medical device clients, including 3F Therapeutics in artificial heart valve technology, Innovative Retinal Associates in ophthalmological surgical instrument technologies, Mentor Corporation in plastic surgery technology, Merz Corporation in pharmaceutical technologies, Scheduling.com in hospital software technologies, and health care research centers including City of Hope.

Prior to practicing law, Steve developed extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries, where he held management positions for various technology-based health care companies.
