Law Firm Overview

Our attorneys have combined experience of over 75 years. The two partners, Miles Dewhirst and Thomas R. Dolven, practiced with large law firms before establishing Dewhirst & Dolven, LLP. The firm has been published in A.M. Best's Directory of Recommended Insurance Attorneys.

Miles M. Dewhirst has practiced civil litigation in Denver and Colorado Springs for 16 years, specializing in areas of construction law, professional liability including medical and dental malpractice, mental health, premises and products liability, defamation, oil and gas, and auto accident litigation.

Thomas R. Dolven practiced civil litigation with a large Denver law firm for 17 years and joined the firm as a partner. Mr. Dolven specializes in premises liability, products liability, construction law and automobile accident litigation.

Lynn Bolinske Dolven joined the firm as special counsel. Ms. Dolven's practice focuses principally in the areas of commercial litigation, construction law, employment disputes and arbitration. She has represented clients in contract disputes of varying sizes in both state and federal courts in Colorado, including complex multiple party litigation. She has appeared before the American Arbitration Association on commercial disputes and the National Association of Securities Dealers on securities disputes.

Bradley W. Maudlin joined the firm as special counsel. Mr. Maudlin practiced in civil litigation in Kansas prior to joining the firm. Mr. Maudlin has extensive litigation experience in areas including commercial and construction litigation, products liability and personal injury matters. Mr. Maudlin also represents real estate developers, closely held businesses and oil and gas entities in commercial matters.

Trevor L. Cofer is a 1999 graduate of Stetson Law School in Florida, where he was an editor for the law review. Mr. Cofer joined the firm as an associate. Mr. Cofer will practice civil litigation in areas of construction defect, employment, contract disputes, and premises liability. He will also handle probate and estate planning matters.
