Monty is a Partner in Simmons Law Group. He serves as head of the firm's real estate practice. Prior to attending law school, Monty was National Sales Manager of a cable television marketing company, and was a registered securities broker for real estate limited partnership offerings. Having managed two different law firms prior to joining Simmons Law Group, he brings a wealth of organizational knowledge to bear on the firm's real estate practice. Monty received his law degree from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 1989, where he graduated cum laude and served as Assistant Editor in Chief of the Mississippi Law Journal. Monty earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Millsaps College in 1979, graduating magna cum laude. Monty is a past Director of the Mississippi American Legion Boys State program and an Eagle Scout. He served for many years on the Board of Directors of Young Business Leaders, a Christian businessmen's organization. He and his family are active members of Highlands Presbyterian Church in Ridgeland.
