Goldstein & Scopellite, PC

Summary
Law Firm Overview
Attorneys Sheldon Goldstein and Michelle Scopellite formed Goldstein & Scopellite, PC in 2002. The Attorneys set out with a mutual goal to help their clients achieve their aims by taking the time to explain the legal issues that confront them and to help them prevail - either through negotiation or litigation.
They have an excellent track record for success and pride themselves on focusing on the underlying legal issues that present themselves in each case. This technique helps them to solve their clients' legal dilemmas in a more expedited manner than the more normal litigation cycle. To assist them in the development of their Firm, the attorneys invited Mr. Joel Mitchell to become their counsel and give them advice and guidance. Mr. Mitchell has been licensed to practice law for more than 30 years and has, during that time, been board certified in five areas of the law. Mr. Mitchell brings a tremendous amount of experience and knowledge to the Firm.
Rich in life's experiences, Michelle and Sheldon bring to their clients and to their clients' legal needs a unique outlook that allows these attorneys to take a fresh look at mundane legal problems and to help their clients steer clear of long and expensive legal disputes, when practicable, and to find alternative means of settling their legal problems. Both Sheldon and Michelle are certified mediators, not only in civil disputes but also in Family Law. Their ability to listen and to try to find a middle ground where parties can agree helps them to understand their clients' views and to communicate with them in a way that assists them to settle their legal problems before they enter into a litigious cycle.
"We do not try to be all things to all clients. And because we are a small firm, we can provide our clients with service that includes a personal attentiveness that you will not find at the larger firms. We work long hours in order to provide the attention to detail that the client's issue needs."
"Service" is our operative word. Our primary goal is to design remedies for problems, as efficiently and cost-effectively as is humanly possible. We render our services promptly and responsively with full recognition that our client is our "customer." We stress direct personal attention, responsiveness, attention to detail, and accessibility:
- We listen to you.
- We return telephone calls-promptly.
- We will do everything necessary to keep you informed and knowledgeable at all times about your case.
