I am a civil trial attorney. I do not handle divorces, I do not represent criminals, and I do not file bankruptcies.
I generally limit my practice to personal injury and wrongful death claims; debt collection; business and insurance disputes; and civil appeals, on behalf of both injured parties and defendants.
Personal Injury and Wrongful Death Claims:
I offer free initial consultations on all claims, and contingency fee arrangements in injury and death cases - no recovery, no fee. In other types of cases, hourly rates are negotiable, as are contingency and flat fee arrangements in appropriate cases.
Experience: I have 25 years experience handling serious personal injury, wrongful death, insurance and business litigation, and have appeared in trial courts in more than 50 different counties, working with and against many of the best attorneys in Michigan. I have also appeared more than 30 times before the Michigan Court of Appeals, and 3 times before the Michigan Supreme Court.
I graduated from Michigan State University in 1975, and graduated Cum Laude from T. M. Cooley Law School in 1981, and am admitted to Practice in all Michigan State Courts; the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Michigan; and the U.S. Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Member - Saginaw County Bar Association; State Bar of Michigan; Michigan Trial Lawyers Association. Past Member - Insurance Law Committee, State Bar of Michigan.
